Affordable, clean, quaint rooms for your stay

 

Come rest in your quiet and peaceful room. Rooms are only shared with family or group members, and are designed to promote a peaceful place to rest after a busy day exploring the city. Step back into history in these beautifully decorated guest rooms. Each room has it's own history, so make sure you check out the unique design of your room.

Reservation Process

We welcome anyone serving in Christian ministry to book a reservation to stay up to 7 days at Hephzibah House.

You must call or Skype us in order to confirm a reservation or to check availability and pricing

Be prepared with the following information:

  • Name/Address/Phone number/website of Christian Ministry you serve.
  • Credit card to confirm reservation by payment in full.
  • Names and relations of all guests for reservation you are booking for.
  • Estimated time of your arrival (must be before 8pm on day of check in to receive your key.)

What you need to know:

  • By our Charter you must be in Christian work to stay here. 
  • Beautiful Brownstone just off Central Park on the desired Upper West Side.
  • Clean, beautiful and peaceful setting where we respect and honor God.
  • We keep this family friendly, so please no smoking, no alcohol or foul language.
  • Wifi is available, ask upon check-in for the code.
  • Shared baths on each floor (that lock) but take hair blow-drying and make up to the room please.
  • Rooms are only shared with people in your family, or group.
  • There is NO elevator, and you must be able to manage your own suitcase up potentially 5 flights of stairs so pack wisely.
  • In order to remain affordable we do not provide services of a full service hotel.
  • No meals are provided, but culinary experiences from around the world are feet from our door.
  • Check in is between 1-8pm, though you may come earlier and leave your luggage as you explore the city until your room is ready. 
  • You MUST be here before 8pm (on day of check in) as the department that issues keys closes at 8pm-so please book flights that will arrive prior to 6pm and make your way to the house. 
  • No curfew once you have your keys but quiet hours are 10pm - 8am
  • In 2014 Air-conditioning was added, so come see us in the summer when there is LOTS to do!
  • Check out is at 10am so please honor this by exiting the room no later than 10am. You may leave your luggage (in our lobby) in order to have one last day to explore the city without the hassle of having your bags. Just return before 6pm to reclaim your luggage.
